What are the changes to the antique firearms regulations?

Published:

Guidance on changes to the Firearms Law are now available in circular (008/2021), helping antique gun owners understand their responsibilities.

Circular (008/2021) provides helpful advice and guidance to the firearms regulations affecting some ‘antique’ firearms that was originally published on 14 December 2021

The new changes will come into effect on 28 December 2021.

The Circular 008/2021 helpfully details amendments made to the 2021 Regulations made by The Antique Firearms (Amendment) Regulations 2021 (‘the Amendment Regulations’) which came into force on 22 March 2021.

See The Antique Firearms Regulations for further details.
