Stuart has expertise in, and extensive experience of, the defence of major and organised crime, homicide, serious sexual offences, money laundering and proceedings under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

In his early days as a Crown Prosecutor in London and Manchester, Stuart was part of a Prosecution team that successfully brought to trial several murder cases involving organised crime groups and street violence.

Whilst at the Bar, he successfully defended several high-profile murder cases in and around the North West.

Stuart can provide advocacy services, advice (written or via the telephone, if required immediately) and formal training in respect of the same, together with all aspects of criminal procedure and the law of evidence. Written arguments and applications can be supplied in short order, if urgently needed.
